Two energy efficient VSD 90 air compressors for nuclear power station

Avelair is supplying two energy-efficient Variable Speed 90kW rotary screw air compressors to a nuclear power station in the UK.

These VSD air compressors are designed with energy-efficient IE 4 motors along with inverter drive technology, which ramp the motor speed in response to air demand, ensuring reduced electrical costs.  Built in the UK was a key decision in placing the order via our partner as they needed to ensure the air compressors would be reliable and with UK local technical and parts support.
