Avelair VSD air compressor saves client £20,000 a year in running costs

Alex De-Moore, Avelair’s Business Development Manager for East Anglia, visited the Norfolk site and installed data loggers onto the 20-year-old existing air compressors for one week so that their usage could be analysed.  The report indicated that the old fixed-speed air compressor was consuming over 55,000kW hrs offload when the air compressor was not producing compressed air – this equates to £20,575 per year in wasted electrical cost.
