Exciting times – Four VSD 132 kW British air compressors are now on their way to their new home. The compressed air system will be installed along side an Energair SX and TX air compressor management controller with full remote visualisation to ensure efficiency and reliability and with the necessary compressed air treatment to provide air purity to ISO 8573 class 2.4.1.

160mm Prevost smooth bore aluminium compressed air pipework is being installed for the main pipework, and a Written Scheme of Examination will be completed prior to commissioning to ensure it complies with the Pressure System Safety Regulations 2000.  If pressure equipment fails in use, it can seriously injure or kill people nearby and cause serious damage to property.  This is why the WSE details all the safety components of a compressed air system and how often they should be checked.

This system will be one of our largest compressed air systems installed in the UK.
