Energy efficient Variable speed 75kW air compressor

The company needed to replace their existing air compressor and turned to Avelair to provide a British manufactured solution offering energy efficiency with full UK parts and technical support.  As the whole range of Avelair air compressors are manufactured here in the UK, we have full components on the shelf ready to support our clients and distributors.

The Variable Speed 75kW (VSD 75) energy efficient air compressor is designed with efficiency in mind.  It uses a powerful main motor inverter and cooling fan inverter to ramp the motor speeds in response to air demand, which in turn lowers the electrical consumption and carbon emissions used.  The airend uses a smooth rolling profile guaranteeing optimum compressed air output to energy input along with quieter running operation.

Although the installation is tight, new hot air discharge ductwork is being installed to ensure good ventilation for cool, clean air to the intake of the compressor, and for the hot air out of the cooler to be discharged away from the plant room.
